Generac 1.0 V twin, won't start, runs great.....

Got a Generac 12KW generator with a 1.0 litre V-twin engine running on natural gas. Won't cold start. Get it running with ether/carb cleaner and it runs perfectly.

Requires 11-13" water column gas pressure, I have 13, verified.

Seems to me there must be some form of start solenoid for fuel supply. Can't find any documentation and no-one in the area wants to do a warranty repair on it because they say Generac takes forever to pay warranty claims.

Anyone got some experience in natural gas powered motors?

The solenoid should be located in the natural gas line somewhere before the carb.

Hard to say why it won't start, either too rich or lean.

Also cranking speed is important, make sure the battery is good & all connections are clean, and the plugs/wires ary dry and clean.
